I parked at the Willard hotel. It's about a block away, $35 bucks all day.

When we visit, we use a private lot. The all day prices have ranged from $10-20. There was one lot we used at 200 NW C St and it was walking distance to a lot of museums. Plus we have ubered a few places for comfort.

I am parking on the street or hotel garage. Streets have installed metering machines. You can use also cellphone app "Parkmobile" or some other.

Street or near by parking garage

Street parking can be scarce. I've always parked at a nearby public parking garage or you could use the metro. Smithsonian and gallery place are close stops.

The museum does not have parking. My family always find parking on the street when we visit DC.
