We want to visit the museum in October. The date I think we need to use for reserving a spot is July 4! What should we do?

On July 4th go to the website and select the date and time in October you want to visit the museum. Make sure you print the tickets and bring them with you to the museum.

I just visited the museum this past weekend. They take walk-ins starting at 1:00 p.m. We did not have any reservations. We were able to just walk in with no problems.

You can get up early and reserves same day ticket (6:30 a.m. Eastern). I did that for 2 straight days with no problem.

Get up very early on the morning of the 4th (6.30am or earlier) to reserve the number of tickets that you want for the time that you want. I actually reserved my tickets the ame morning I went there and showed the hate agent my reservation/email confirmation from my phone. This was as recently as 5/20/18.

Try online. I think there's a wait list and i hear the 6:30am time frame is good. If you can spend money, we did a tour with KB visiting some of the sites. It ended at the museum. KB tour gives you tickets exiting the bus to then just walk into the museum.
