If you don't know your history you have no idea where you are going, to understand where you are going you must know where you have been. The American History Museum was established to preserve our accomplishments as Americans and inform future generations.

Simple. Why build any museum on anything?. To inform people on the culture and evolution of nature (nature being people or animals ) If I were to guess why they built this museum is because they wanted to inform and notify people of the struggle and pain African and African American people have went through around the United States and the world.
