Tickets are free, but the general public must reserve them in advance. As a Vet you can use your ID as a ticket, and go at anytime. That is the only real difference.

We are honored to welcome veterans, active duty personnel and first responders to the museum. After showing their military, work ID or badge, veterans, active duty personnel and first responders may enter the museum and bring one guest with them for their visit. Entry into the museum is always subject to building capacity.

I'm am currently on active duty and would like to sponsor my spouse as my guest on a weekend visit. We also intend to bring our 5 year old daughter. My spouse and daughter both have military dependent ID cards. Are there any stipulations for small children who accompany their parents using the veteran preference entry option?

Yes and no. If you're a veteran, you can use your ID as a ticket, as long as it's government issued. There is no need to reserve a ticket as long as you have your ID.

Joseph Bruno | Oct 2, 2019

Vets you do not need a ticket. Just go to the museum and have your military ID. There is a line for military only. Again no ticket is need.

Gwenetta Bright | Oct 2, 2018

To get tickets go onto the website and order. If you are unable to get tickets for the day you want they do have same day tickets but you have to get on at 630am to get them as they go fast.
