Penn Station on 34th street, take the number (1) or the (A) train uptown Northbound, get off the train on 168th street train station and you'll see 168th street & Broadway avenue. Walk one block West on 168th street toward Ft Washington Avenue. The Armory is on the southeast corner.... so from Penn station to the Armory is about 25 to 30 minutes if there is no delays.
