There is a maintenance package that you can purchase when you purchase your car and it gives you free oil changes up until I believe 72000 miles. you will also get a coupon booklet in the mail that has coupons for free oil changes up until that amount of miles have been reached. I am at 45,000 miles on my car and I still am receiving free oil changes. If you signed up for the free oil change package then the dealership should be able to pull that up when you check in.
Yes that's added cost available and I believe a good idea. BUT THEY DON'T GIVE YOU ANYTHING. I purchased that package because I'm getting along in age and wonder if I get under my car will I be able to get back up lol. HERE'S THE PROBLEM WITH THAT. In this particular case, dealership, after the experience I've had there I cannot trust that the work will be done correctly, nor that the materials, oil, is of the right spec or what I was told used. They changed my oil twice, first time I brought my own oil, full synthetic, and oil filter. I hope they used full synthetic 5w 30 the second time. Only the vehicle knows for sure. My third oil change was performed at a non Clay Cooley dealership along with the routine maintenance inspection which I played for gladly tho I'm out $850 on a useless untrusting maintenance contract.
