There are areas where you can look inside some windows (if you're facing the prison from the street head to the very left near some cement stairs), but no legal way in-definitely not safe or worth getting arrested for. If you go to the women's prison across the street the front door isn't there. It doesn't look very safe (and is probably illegal) to go into, but you can pop your head in and see a bit of the inside.

No, but there are various types of tours offered in the warmer months. It's locked up, secured and has a police presence 24/7. Security cameras were installed in the summer of 2018.

Yes you can wander around the outside of the prison but you can't go in...when we were there new chains and padlock had just been installed to stop people from going in...
