You can hug and pet, but should not lift them off of the ground.
They asked that we not pick up any of the animals. When my daughter was sitting on the ground one of the baby goats came up onto her lap but and she kinda held him or her but that's about it. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone, kids or no kids lol. Larry the camel is my favorite! He will hang out and eat from your hand all day long! :)
