It depends on the available food source. If the flora and fauna are good for a season then so will the rodent population and in turn so will will the snake population. Beware though, quite a few years back a very good friend on mines young son was struck in the face by a rather large Timber Rattler right there in the campground.
There around but ive see one about every 2-3 years...but im not looking for them
