In the same way that both me and my brother have each gone there feeling like we were having heart attacks (my brother's was a decade before mine) and being sat in the waiting room for 3+ hours. It's like their test for these things is "let's see if they drop dead first."
It might be due to insurance. I know someone who has really good insurance and was seen in 5 minutes
According to medical standards , they should only wait for 5 to 10 .min to recheck BP to come down but if BP is still up and have a history then pt. Should be given BP medicine in order to prevent stroke. They can make u wait with reading on only bases if they continue to monitor 5 hrs.
