Actually there is no smoking inside at all in most places. To smoke at Martin's, you have to go outside.
Ayita, the law in Virginia says that there is no smoking inside any public place UNLESS there is a separate space for smokers with a completely separate HVAC system. There are very, very few places that meet this requirement, so pretty much everywhere is non-smoking. Welcome to Virginia and enjoy the music!!
Really where have you been there's no smoking in most most places you will be hard-pressed to find somewhere you can smoke inside current Virginia law
