"Rose Hill Bed & Breakfast" Wendy B&B owner, offers exceptional hospitality throughout stay. Her customer service skills are outstanding, she engages with each guest interested in their plans and finds from local markets and antique shops. Wendy's 3 course gourmet breakfast are delicious. The presentation of each dish should be a photo in a food magazine. After breakfast Wendy offers one of her heart felt poems, that extra treat you'll look forward too. Her home is lovely offering old world charm with private bathrooms. The claw foot tubs are perfect for soaking, unwinding from a day of exploring. When you enter the foyer you feel the energy of a happy home, welcoming guest. Wendy offers warm mulled cider afternoon and through the evening along with her homemade two bite desserts for her guest enjoyment throughout their stay. We especially enjoyed the Mexican chocolate fudge..yummy! Teddy, Wendy's awesome adorable dog will melt your heart, guarantee he will put a smile on your face.

We stayed here 2 nights in the Garbo room. Wendy was our host and provided delicious 3 course breakfasts each morning. Each meal started with a mouth watering muffin followed by a fruit and then a main course. The house itself, built in 1909 was completely restored with lots of fine details. The front porch was large and inviting. We look forward to returning!

My Husband and I stayed here last night and it was marvelous! I contacted Wendy about 8 days prior to our stay as a last minute resort (we were coming from Tennessee from our Wedding anniversary trip), she was quick with her response, and very attentive to detail. We were a little late due to inclement weather and Wendy waited up for us. She was very welcoming and cheerful as she gave us a tour of her GORGEOUS home. From the stunning chandelier + lighting, to the shiny hardwood floors, to the library, we were enamored by the space. We met her adorable little dog Teddy and smiled from ear to ear as Wendy showed us to our room; the Garbo Room. How magnificent! I took some lovely photographs (I will add later) and was just smitten by the room and it's warmth. The next morning for breakfast Wendy prepared a delicious plant based breakfast full of character and love. We met two other couples at breakfast and the conversations were very charming. We will be back next year and beyond ;)

Our visit was wonderful and restful. Wendy was very thoughtful and accommodating. Her cooking is excellent. And, she makes sure you do not have to lift a finger to do almost anything. The house is lovely as well. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated. There are a lot of little, unique decorations that add a pleasant, unique character to it. Wendy was kind and enjoyable to chat with, and Teddy (her dog) was a great companion and amusing to watch as he defended the property from cats (which I appreciate since I dislike cats almost as much as he does). We will come back again soon.
