Hi, the Art Institute offers valet service at the Modern Wing entrance during museum hours. There are are also several public garages nearby, including the Millennium Park Garage and Millennium Lakeside Garage as well as the North and South Grant Park Garages. You can find more information on our website under “Directions and Parking.” Thank you!
The last time we went we parked at millenial Park Garage. It was raining so we only had to walk about a block outside. Parking is not cheap in Chicago, but the city has so much to offer it's worth the $32.00 to park. Don't use the street parking along the streets that line the edge of the museum, you can only park for 2 hours at a time. And, the Chicago Police keep a very close eye and how long people are parked and will ticket you in a minute the two hours are up. Use underground garage or take the train if you live close enough in one of the suburbs. If you're staying in a hotel there are buses and even shuttle buses that go right to the museum.
When I was there I parked out a ways where it was cheap and took the train in. It dropped me 3 blocks from the museum.
