I have been trying to purchase an Alex drawer unit but cannot get through. I keep getting a message that says they have reached their maximum orders. How can that be? I started yesterday and all day today. Help !!

I was lucky enough to get through Click & Collect this week. I got through around 1pm and was able to schedule a pick up at same time next day. Here is my advice: Have a tab open on your phone or computer and throughout the DAY try to get through every hour or so. I sit on a computer for work so I would just click Next here and there. I received an order confirmation within a few minutes. You need to wait for the order ready for pick up email and I received that about 2 hours before my pick up window the next day. You have 24 hrs after your pick up window to pick up the order. I went at 2:30pm today (Weds, 6/3) and no line to pick up. In and out under 15 mins. There are 45 spots for click and collect. Maybe 4-6 cars were there the entire time I was there. Hope this helps.

Same thing happened to me. I tried for several days before deciding to try my luck at a different location. I was able to place an order at the Carson Ikea around 12:20am.

Get in line around 9am or 10am, they will hand out tickets of high-demand items, like the Alex desk. Once you have the ticket, as soon as they open, you are guaranteed a unit.

Don't purchase anything from Ikea online. You will never get it. I have been waiting for a month now. Nothing. And their contact system is not taking any calls. I am wondering if they are taking our monies and going bankrupt.

For those who have ordered via Click & Collect how long does it take to actually get your purchase?

Same here. I placed an order last week and never got a confirmation email for pick up. It's been 5 days. I tried calling and you essentially get hung up on because no one can help you. Im just going to show up and ask how long I am supposed to wait. So frustrating

After your order, how long did you wait for the confirmation email for pick up? I placed an order for pick and it’s been 24 hours and have yet to get email.
