You don't have to buy in advance but it definitely makes it easier and you won't have to stand in line. Seats are first come first serve once you are in. It's best to get in early and get a spot.
You don’t have to buy the tickets ahead of time, they do sell tickets at the door for $25 each (or around that if I’m remembering correctly). And it doesn’t guarantee seats. The earlier you arrive, the better chance you have of actually being seated. If you arrive when doors open, it’s going to be much more difficult to actually find seats
Best to buy in advance. You can also buy them at the cowboy store across the street less line. No guarantee on seating it is bleacher seating
It's usually easier to buy tickets ahead especially at end of summer and the earlier you are the more likely you'll get seats when it's packed.
