Ground insects like yellow jackets, wasps and other stinging critters can be taken care of at dusk or after dusk by pouring boiling water down their nest opening. I use about three gallons of VERY hot tap or boiling water. It works on flying ants, termites, burrowing bees, fire ants and the like.

They do offer clinics periodically! Your local municipality should also have a day available for a free rabies clinic they hold annually that is most residents.
