It is technically accessible but last night we watched two separate groups struggle immensely, one giving up completely due to the gravel. It looks beautiful but this park is absolutely not accessible for people with wheelchairs, and probably not strollers either. While there are some paths on the side, they do not run the entire length of the park. It is not wheelchair or stroller friendly.

Hi James, I just got back from the park. While it is technically wheel chair accessible, the park is graveled and not paved. I had a very difficult time getting my son’s stroller across the park so I can’t imagine it will be easy or convenient for a wheel chair. It is very unfortunate and I hope they change that aspect of the park. Otherwise, it is a beautiful space.

Hi James, Thank you for your interest in the Rail Park. The park will be wheelchair accessible from the main entrance off of Noble Street near the 13th Street over pass. You can arrive at that entrance from either direction on Noble Street (from N Broad or from N 12th). Best regards,

There are two boardwalk style smooth sections on either side of the center area which is gravel. It is steeply graded as folks have previously mentioned. The Callowhill St end has a stairway so you'd have to enter and return to 13th & Noble.
