How is the food and how do they do bbq sauce? I like when places give you options but I love a place that uses a signature flavor to identity their spot. Also I'm looking for a more liquid base like down south does anyone know what I'm talking about?

There are a couple of options but nothing that is specific to them. But like someone else said, they have a runny sauce that is very vinegary but really good.

I've had the mustard based BBQ sauce down south. By far my favorite. Not available here, however.

They have a variety of BBQ sauce. I believe they have a signature sauce. And you can order extra (liquid) sauce on the side. Hope that answers your question!

Food is great multiple sauces and condiments that you can grab yourself at no extra charge. I'd say its smoother rather than thick. They have specials certain days of the week. Worth checking out for sure. Also now have full service tables w bar.

I know exactly what you're asking. They do more of a Kansas City style barbeque sauce, but not super thick. It is served warm which helps keep it loose. It is not very vinegary though. Overall the food is excellent. I have had North Carolina and Memphis Barbeque in their respective homes, and for Sweet Lucy's can compete as far as overall quality of the food, though the styles are different.
