Restaurant Week in Center City Of Philadelphia we chose La Famiglia Ristorante my husband and I are so happy we chose this restaurant to celebrate our 7th anniversary .The restaurant is so beautiful the ambience make you feel like you are in a movie ,Manuel our waiter was so attentive in whatever we needed he made sure we had ,our cocktails lemon drop was perfect .There was a lot of choices for 1st course and second course ,our entree we ordered short ribs ,chicken breast in white wine .I highly recommend this restaurant everything is perfect .

Our favorite spot in Philadelphia! La Famiglia is an absolute must go to restaurant. The staff are top notch and are extraordinarily knowledgeable about the menu and the wine. The wine list is the largest I have seen in town. The decor and style of the building is unique and inviting (make sure to go downstairs to see the wine cellar!). That being said, the food is the main attraction. Worth the price for every item, we’ve never had something we didn’t love.

Medium-high level restaurant, not touristy. The food was good, the pasta we ate was al dente (strangely !!!), the sea bass very good and the eggplant pie was very delicious. The price is adequate for the standard of the restaurant. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable.

Pros: - great decor and atmosphere - friendly waitstaff attended to our group and suggested a fixed menu - non-fixed item, scallop sauce, was very good Cons: - scaled down options were suggested but we were billed for more expensive menu options (spent 2 months trying to resolve this prior to posting) - excessive wait time between courses - food was overcooked, vegetables were limp and seemed frozen out - unable to handle larger groups
