It would depend on what your crime was and why you went to prison in the first place. There are certain crimes that would make a person(s) unable to be released from a halfway house into a hotel/motel living situation. My best guess, would be to calmly and rationally speak to your parole officer, and ask who you would need to talk to, to about your living and release from halfway house situation.
