Is a good time to go see the falls next week? My family is visiting from California and i was told that they turn off the falls most of the time!! Any recommendations?

In the spring, there is a lot of water coming over the falls. It's a good time to visit!

Go now or then. Last Sunday the river was flowing over the dann and you can't shut the flow off when the river has that much water. It was overflowing upstream at the dam for twin falls too.
