No swimming at this particular area to see the falls. There is a lake near by. There are bbqs, so charcoal and meat/veggies to grill would work. We spent a few hours there, but not all day. It has a great grassy area and great views.
The water is high, should be great. You can swim and bbq etc at the lake that's just above the falls area.
Water us flowing great at the moment. There last weekend. Great views and picture opportunities, especially at sundown.
The water is notmally flowing pretty good this time of year and derkies is also down there that has great swimming. Derkies gets pretty busy during the day so i would go kinda early to get a good spot for a picnic if thats what u want to do. There r bbq pits that need charcoal. Also sunscreen would be good to take.
There is a nearby lake you can swim at. Playground. Bathrooms. BBQ pits. Tables. Small beach area. Floating docks at the lake. $3.00 to drive in to the falls and lake area...CASH only. Picnic or BBQ.
