Any vehicle MUST have a park entry permit. Them's the rules.
Because Uber isn't a public utility? 😒
The car would have to have park sticker on it to get inside.
If you met them before the entry gate, the uber drver would not get charged.
Meet them at the entrance to the camp ground
Seems like Ubers, taxis, etc. should be given an exemption but I imagine it would take a change in state park rules or even the law to allow it.
It's required to have a park permit and if he got a ticket it would have been $74 so $6 isn't bad
Because it is a state lake and those are the rules to enter the park. It is where funding comes from for our lakes. I would plan on walking to the gate to be picked up by the driver. The elderly guy probably doesnt know what uber is, and he is just doing his job. Have a nice time camping! Stay cool, its gonna be a real cooker.
Really not sure kinda ridiculous though
