As others have mentioned yes you can buy food inside. They have a cafe on the second floor can be seen from the entrance when you walk in and then they have various concession stand / bars throughout the building. All of which sell at least drinks and snacks. Alcoholic beverages are sold at select onea.

And they are expensive, $7 for a regular store baught hotdog is a bit outrageous

What are the food prices in the kid friendly food area?

Great food on the mezzanine (the level between 1st & 2nd floor- directly off of the main staircase.) Pizza, sandwiches, cookies, drinks... etc.

Yes, there's a small food court on the second level I believe and the rooftop sells snacks and drinks. Alcohol beverages are also sold.
