I agree with the others. More time the better. You could do 3-4 hours but if you have 1/2 a day or more, there's plenty of things to do and see.

It's an all day experience, but you can section it off and make it shorter with more trips. I would say 4 hours minimum.
Depends a lot of the kiddos. The toddler we were with lasted 2.5 hours before needing a break. It is big!
I went with two children, ages 6 and 8. We were there from 10-5 but didn't play outside at all. We did eat lunch there too. We could have easily spent more time there. There's so much to do and the kids really get into play therw.
If you are bring kids I think you should plan for at least two hours (also depending on the ages of the kids). Younger kids could spend all day there.
