City museum would definitely be better.
I think it is more for younger children.
The science center could be a good option as well.

They won't be bored, but might feel out of place. A lot of little kids running around. I agree with city museum as a better choice for teens.
My whole family enjoyed it but it definitely depends on the person! We enjoyed the legos and bubble room!!!
My 12 year old was a little board... City museum is a blast even for younger kids.
Depends on the 13 year old. I would say at that age you're pushing it though. The City Museum is probably a better choice.
