If you like to read everything, leave about 4 to 5 hours.....but average people will see everything in about 2 hours
Other answers are accurate, but you may want to allow an extra hour to go to the Lincoln home which is just a few blocks away. Admission is free.
It took us about 3 hrs. to see everything and not feel rushed.
