David and Michelle are correct. You have the option to leave the lid open or closed. I sometimes prefer to float with the lid opened and lights on. Totally your choice. I hope you will come and give it a try! Thank you!
It does. You can use it with the top open, but it has lights inside. It gets a little cool with the top open. And the room lights go out until you raise the top or get out.
You can close it yourself or leave it open
