Old guy at the door goes out of his way to make your day as bad as his
Jennifer Holaday
We had our daughter scheduled for a road test last week. Due to some unforseen circumstances we were not able to keep that appointment. Knowing it took 6 weeks to get her on the schedule the first time we asked what our options were so she wouldn't have to wait another 6 weeks. We were told to come in on Wednesday and get in line early in the morning. We confirmed which day. She said "Not this Wednesday, not tomorrow (we were there on Tuesday) but next week." We repeated back and confirmed the day we could return and she said yes. My husband and daughter got in line at 6:30 this morning. They just came out and told them at 8:15 that road tests are next Wednesday. We were told incorrectly. In addition, I tried calling up to the DMV last week to confirm this day only to be sent to voice mail system. I called the state customer service line DMV only to be told that she had no idea what I was talking about. We checked every DMV within a two hour radius and she still has to wait at least a month to get on the schedule. The worst part is, there is no one to complain to, no one to remedy the situation and no one to even confirm anything. She has missed school because we were given incorrect information by a woman at the Franklin DMV. How incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Please avoid at all costs. Staff is slow and rude. If you don’t have a ticket to see the counter, don’t bother waiting around past 4. After about 4:15, the work day stops for everyone on staff. It’s crowded, noisy, and very unpleasant. Please go to any other DMV. Please make the drive and go ANYWHERE else. If you have to go to this one, take the whole work day off because you need to. I walked in at about 3:30 without a ticket, and the staff encouraged me to stay and wait with my name on the list. As time went on, I asked if I should just go and come back another time, but they were insistent that I would probably be seen. At 5, I was asked to leave. More than fair to assume I was angry. There is so customer service here. That’s the government for you.

I wanted to leave a review and 4 stars because the lady at the front door that greeted us was nice and patient with us. As well as the lady that helped me with my driver license, she said her name is Dedra. Unfortunately I can’t leave a 5 star review because next to me was a young humble young lady that did not speak English and the woman that helped her with a name tag Hol Combe was so mean and unprofessional with her. I offered to help and walk next to the young lady that felt humiliated and was holding back her tears from the bad treatment she was getting. I myself saw how mad Hol Combe was that this young lady did not speak English. It isn’t what you say but how you say it. The tone and looks Hol Combe was giving weren’t ok either. I understand in this country you have to speak English but if there’s someone that isn’t there YET be kind, be welcoming, be PATIENT! If you work in a job were you will need to help everyone you need to have costumers skills and NOT BE RUDE. The numbers were from 1 to 10 honestly nowadays everyone can say 1 to 10 in Spanish so it isn’t a matter of who can speak what but the treatment you get. This isn’t free! We pay and your job gets you payed thanks to us, the customers! When the young lady left I ran behind her and she was outside in tears feeling humiliated and said she never in her life met someone that treated her that way. Please be kind we are all learning from one another. God bless.

https://www.dmv.org/drivers-license/real-id This tells you all the documentation you need. You have to go into a Full Service DMV office to get it.
What is needed for proof of indentificatipn
Yes, that correct!
First Open the bank account in here, but you need two evidence the address and your Passport.
Yes you can as long as it's current
Yes
What is the fee to renew Tennessee drivers license?
Yes
No, that would be at the administrative complex. 1320 West Main St Franklin, TN 36064
As long as your license was valid before you loss it, go there and speak with a clerk, they'll have you in and out in no time. Be sure and smile for pic
It's always better to call them first just to be on the safe side. You never know when they change their policies. Good Luck.
I really doubt. If your learner's permit expired then you have to take the knowledge test again. If you are already driving well then take the road skills test immediately after the knowledge test. So, you don't need to wait for the road skills test. Hope that helps.
Show up at a Driver Services center with the documents listed on their web site: https://www.tn.gov/content/tn/safety/driver-services.html#documents
You do need your permit. You will have to take a written driving test first. I would go and get the book and study first
ok - thank you...... yep just trying to get this Real ID done and was hoping to make an appt... thanks for your feedback
Yes, I did. Get there early.
Just arrive at opening hour.
REAL ID and Enhanced Drivers License are two separate things. REAL ID is not intended for going out of the country.
No IT's close!
no public wifi
Yes
About 15 miles right or left from facility, I think right side easier
You might want to visit County clerk office for that. https://www.tn.gov/revenue/title-and-registration.html
Contact the dmv directly
Car tags and registration would be Williamson county clerk office (provided you live in Williamson county). This place is strictly for drivers licenses and IDs.
I would call and ask about it to be sure.
Not sure i think its only renewals and test u can get id at antioch
If you have a current license from another state, you won't need to take a test. I moved from IL, brought my license, passport, utility bill and W2 each showing my TN address and that was enough. They kept my IL license and issued a TN license. The fee was $28.00.
I went in for a new TN license , including a photo, and didn't need an appointment.
In my experience within 2 weeks
You can get your driver's license in any county but your tags have to be obtained in the county in which you reside.
