It's open 7 days a week but get there very early. I got there at 1130 and they said they were turning people away since 930.
Yes 7 days a week. But there are a few rules to follow. Pack in, pack out, use the large dumpsters for your trash, clean up your area it helps the staff and flattens the curve. The day use gates lock at 6PM. No walk-ins allowed and no parking anywhere on the road. Try to reserve your campsites online. Gorge hiking is awesome and you can camp overnight and you can self register in the gorge. Have fun, swim, hike, bike or camp. Respect nature. Enjoy the Los Padres National Forest!
When I go on the weekends I go there like at 5am because there is already a line
