Has anyone bought fish from this store? If so did they die? Ive had my tank for 3 years. Added a couple fish from meijer store on sAwmill road and they have ich, a highly infectious disease that has killed alot of my fish

Buy fish from a pet store that has staff trained to actually care for the fish that they sell.

I haven't purchased fish from a supermarket, but general principle is to buy animals/fish anything that breathes and lives from specialized store. Most of the time clerks in supermarkets dont know how to tend to animals correctly.

we bought plants that brought a virus which wiped out our 70 gallon tank in 2 weeks. We lost fish we'd had for 10 years. DONT buy fish or plants from Meijer! Purchase from Aquarium Adventure or a reputable fish store. The worst thing that happened with AA is snails came in on some plants. We bought clown loaches that ate them and were later killed by the virus.

Yes... we purchased 9 fish. All but one died. Blacklick Meijer. We also bought 4 fish from Petsmart. 2 died... they had ich as well. Prompt treatment saved 2.

Pay attention to their tanks anytime you go there. They usually have floaters. Thats a big red flag.

I have bought many fish from this store. I buy 5 and 2 might die. U can take them back for credit or replacement. Use a medication for ich in yr water treatment. For a quarter of the price over aquarium adventure u get what u pay for.
