Agree with everyone who answered! Grotto is a casual place, it's as dressed up or down as you want to be - all are welcome! Jeans and a polo would be perfect but you can come as you are. Hope to see you soon!

Yeah, well, we came in ON OUR 23RD WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND WE'RE TREATED LIKE WE WERE NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Our server dismissed my stmt about the remulaude bent extra spicy, and I like spicy FYI, so, when a younger, hipper table ALSO claimed it was too spicy? THEN, he checked on it, then he came to apologize, but HE TOUCHED MY ARM, don't touch me!!! He also addressed my husband, more often than me, I had to command his attention. I did NOT Appreciate that. He is older than we are (we are older -- in our 50's). I hand picked this restaurant, for the High quality food and wonderful treatment by staff... yeah, that didn't happen...at all. The server freaked out when I asked if the salmon was cooked through. I cannot eat undercooked fish. I prefer flaky salmon, it's a huge process for me, that creates an amazingly heavenly experience when I eat salmon (which is a rare treat). Our night was ruined. Very disappointed 😞. Stolen. Customer always right? Guess not
