Excellent food and service! If you're looking for authentic Italian food, you MUST check this place out and make sure you see Julie for the most friendly and excellent service. Everytime she served us with a smile! And the Risotto, which is my favorite, was in at least 3 different entrees (Major points!!). You don't see that in your average Italian restaurant. But this place is not average. And the atmosphere was great as well. Music was very low (the way I like it). Cloth table covers and chairs. Intimate setting, not like some of the big open spaced places. Brought my whole family and each one loved their meal! Pleasing everyone is not easy to do. We will definitely be back. See my pictures of the hot bread with awesome dipping sauce, Risotto with scallops, ribs with vegetables and chicken francaise. You will not be disappointed. Compliments to the chef and Julie for making our experience memorable.

The food and service were fantastic as well as the ambiance. The shrimp scampi was outstanding! Chocolate mousse cake was delicious. A fellow finer had the steak riggies and loved it! Prices were reasonable for the portion, taste, service and ambiance. I can't wait to go back and share this gem with my wife!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC family dinner at Grotto! Our family celebrated an important occasion and enjoyed excellent service, DELICIOUS food (the chef's riggies are not to be missed!) drinks and dessert. Wow, The Grotto..should not be missed. My husband and I walked in, without a reservation, and eventhough it was very busy the owner took us to a nice table that felt very private and intimate. Julie, our server, introduced herself and quickly got us the hottest fresh bread with seasoned oil. Loved it...we placed our drink and dinner order and our drinks arrived right away. Wine was fantastic and just the right temperature for perfect flavor. Julie was very nice and attentive. I must say the best thing about the visit wasn't the atmosphere or the service..it was the food! Top notch chicken parm and chicken riggies. The chicken was hot and tender and the sauce was perfectly flavored. The four stars was only because the salad didn't come till after the entree. We will definitely be back. I can't wait to try the scallops!
