Anyone is welcome to come view the collection during open hours; however, in order to get a card to borrow items, one must be a state employee, a member of the media, a SLIS student at LSU, or an elected official.

I agree with the response provided. The River Center Branch of EBR Parish library system (447 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802) can be a good option nearby. Thanks.
