You will need a card to purchase items. Just go to the service desk they will issue you a card
It's better if you go to Sam Club and get your card then you can start shopping right away
They need to take your photograph. If you get a card number online, you can shop right now.

I know it's easy to do shopping online instead of going to store but it will be easy for you to go to store first then do online shopping
