Bases on your income
It is based on income. They provide many programs to help a person in need, including Medical Pharmacy utility help and monthly food. They also provide showers. They provide you with clean towels a face cloth and toiletries for each person. They also have a list of churches and organizations that will also help out with various assistance.
I agree Jennifer with all your saying. I tried to explain that to Laurie also with numerous other options as well as places to turn to which CCOM gives A person A list of church's and other places if they have ran out of fund's to help A person or couple can be referred to you by them if income eligable. Blessings I will pray for you and your husbands needs to be met. I have lived in Hickory most of my life and I am pleased to say that Our community helps numerous families and and Single Parents and we have shelter's for the homeless and up town you can eat lunch Free no papers to fill out just stand in line and wait you're turn. So that's at least one balanced meal each day. I sometimes have to go myself as I get only A small amount of food stamps for a entire month which is only enough for A week and a half if you buy cheaper foods and drink beverages like water.
