I’m an Army veteran seeking A security guard license. Is it true that my military training I don’t have to take the 8hr or 16hr course. Any help?

Military or civilian you must have a New York State security licence and both your 8 and 16 hour Certificates up to date. Your 8 hour Certificate gets updated hearly.
