You have to do the whole process again 8 and 16 hour fingerprints and apply for a new license

No you don't. Print out the application. Take your annual. Get your fingerprints taken. Get your money order ready with the application and submit. I just went through this same thing.
U have to start all over again.u waited too long to renew. So u have to take the 8 n 16 hour certificate class again n then send ur fingerprints off to Albany with the Processing Fingerprint Fee n after Albany do ur Criminal background check;about 2wks to a month; dependeng on there back log;they will mail u ur license n the mail.
