Last time I was there I didn't see any picnic area
Although I think it's possible if you dont mind sitting on the ground type picnic. I do not recall any picnic tables there.
There are benches to sit but for 4 people or so, no open fires are allowed, no alcoholic beverages and no smoking
Bring a blanket & a picnic basket & find a nice spot & enjoy being with ur Mom.
