It does seem a little off. If this was during black Friday then yes, that happens at everystore. If it is just a random day then they defiently should have had more in stock.
Sometimes they stock at a minimum just to get you in the store.
They can order it for you if its not in stock.

The workers n their friend has early access to all of the sales.plus they usually have a small amount on stock
