Nice clean fenced in area for your dog to run around and swim. However never any dogs and I think that’s mainly because of the gators. It’s been twice since I’ve had to leave because they get really close to the dog area. I know that’s the gators home just be very aware and attentive.

AWESOME dog park and recreational area. There's a large fenced area with a lake and small sandy beach for your dog to keep cool in during summer! No people swimming allowed, but dogs can dive right in! Just check your surroundings first as there could be gators. Also, if you're dog has iffy recall or is super curious, check along the border where the fence meets the lake before you unleash. There might be a small place they could get out, I didn't look well enough so unsure. But really the lot is so big I doubt they will even go near the fence line! There's also a smaller gated area beside the big one, that doesn't attach to the lake. There's a basketball court and a walking trail around the lake as well. Lots of green grassy (although unshaded and unfenced) areas for picnicking and further leashed walking. There's bathrooms as well! Have fun!

Is that alligator still in the pond, or has someone removed it?

Alligators are natural creatures. They live in the swamp and ponds all around. Even if one is removed, another one can easily walk to it and occupy the space. You'll never get rid of them. Just be cautious and aware when you're out there.
