Does anyone know why you cannot use a debit card to buy gas this WM in Spartanburg, SC? They always want you to come in and put the money on a gift card. This is annoying! I have started going to Sphinx.

That's not why you can use your debit card. What they're trying to do is save you $0.03 per gallon. I use my debit card there today.

That is strange. The only reason i can think of is the verification system at the pumps isn't working properly
