Thank God I called to inquire about this business before visiting, the woman who answers the phone told me everything I needed to know, and that’s that I should stay away. I asked her a question and she answered by telling me she doesn’t have time for this. I asked if anyone was available to answer some of my questions about the company, and before I could finish asking, without saying anything she had placed me on hold. I wasn’t sure if she was transferring me to someone else. When she returned she said “You’re still here?” I said yes ma’am. She answered my previous question, and when I confirmed the street name by spelling it, she said to me, “Yes, main, you don’t know the word main?”. I moved onto my next question and she sighed into the phone and said “I told you, I don’t have time for this” and hung up on me. Hopefully not all the employees are like this, but I will not be finding out if they’re any better than she was anytime soon.

With pain and symptom management, as well as education and support, hospice care allows patients and families to focus on what is truly important When Life Matters Most. It is a unique health care approach in which the patient and family are the focus, not the disease. Hospice care helps patients and their families make the most of the time that remains. Hospice is a team of specially trained health care professionals caring for the patient and relieving anxiety for the caregiver/family. Our hospice support team helps patients and families with pain and symptom management, social, emotional, and grief issues. Hospice brings comfort and quality to the remaining months, weeks, and days.
Hospice care is for people who have a life-limiting illness with a life expectancy of six months or less, and have chosen to focus on comfort care over treatment. Hospice works with the patient and family to develop a plan of care specific to their disease and individual needs. Eligibility criteria includes frequent hospitalizations, progressive weight loss, deteriorating mental abilities, frequent infections, and/or an overall decline in condition.
