No, you don't need an appointment, just go down to the office, they'll be someone there who will direct you with instructions on what application to fill out.

YES YOU MOST CERTAINLY ARE, NOW IF SHE IS ENCOURAGE ABLE, YOU CAN LET HER FILE TO BECOME EMANCIPATED. I HAVE ONE AS WELL, AND SHE SWEARS SHE IS GROWN, I STILL HAVE TO TAKE HER TO HER DOCTOR'S VISITS SIGN FOR CERTAIN THINGS ECT. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY TODAY.

I feel your pain. I don't have the answers too your question but I do know that you should call them as many times as It takes too get some answers. That is my advice. If need be I will help you figure it out.

U have to wait till they approve u if u dont have any money coming in I think they will give u emergency food stamps then u go get ur card at office right away it's been 2 weeks and I still dont no if I'm approved they keep asking for stuff

You can mail your paperwork into the county office, 630 Chesnee Hwy, Suite 1, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Make sure to add your case#, any pay stubs, or statements proving additional income.

If you have not relinquished your parental rights to him and given certain circumstances to your situation, yes, there's a possibility of you obtaining custody of him by petitioning the court. You will need an attorney to do this because you cannot represent yourself when it comes to "custody" cases in SC. I am uncertain of the laws in other states (they may vary).
