Staff are friendly and helpful. Each of the programs I've attended has been fun and informative. My favorite part is the Sparks Space though.

Love the Downtown Library - they help customers in so many different ways! With access to internet, help researching important stuff, classes, things for kids to do, community services, and of course, lots of great books! And I love my Boiling Springs Branch too

I LOVE this library however today, I changed my mind because of the border line rude people harrassing folks (Me) who haven't registered and have no desire to vote. It's my choice to vote or not and I don't appreciate feeling bullied nor shamed into doing so...and thats how I felt coming in and leaving. No means, no. You guys ruined my special library time.

Non-resident cards are issued for a fee of $35 per year. This entitles two family members a non-restricted card for a period of one year. If more than two family members get a card, the charge for the additional cards is $10 per year. Applicants must show picture ID with their correct address. Non-resident cards receive full privileges including access to downloadable materials and streaming services. Cards may be renewed yearly.

There was a Chautauqua program last night (Monday) on M Lewis. The moderator said that they would post the talk on the library web site. Do you know where I can find it? Thanks.

Have your library card handy and go online at www.spartanburglibraries.org, use the mobile app, or call and speak to someone in person. Certain collections don't leave the library (reference and local history, for instance)

Is this the Hilton for vagrants and homeless? There was a dude bathing in the sink in the bathroom and half a dozen people with backpacks and bags smoking out front. Why does the city have no interest in dealing with this problem?

Pretty much they find it a place where they can use the bath room. Cause they walk with their belongings. It's a public place so there is no way you can stop them from coming in. Its intimidating at some point but one has to just say they are humans with issues.
