I have to agree , on October 2nd I ended my 45-day IMRT for prostate cancer. When my urologist Mary Ann kenneson in Orange Park got the biopsy results she called Dr. Ackerman directly and I was getting prepped for the PET the same day within hours. The fact is his staff was waiting for me when I got there.
They do all work as a team. They do MRI's and PET scans there. They also do radiation therapy there. They have the BEST oncologist doctors I've ever had. The nurses are wonderful. As for surgeons they did send me to a surgeon affiliated with Baptist Hospital downtown. He was also wonderful. But my surgery was back in 2015. I still go to Ackerman on San Jose. My personal oncologist is Dr. Perkins but I've met with all of them at one time or other and they are all GREAT doctors. You will never regret going there for your care.
