Is there a student rate for admission? Do I have to buy tickets before I get there? How long are the lines?

Not sure about the student price but I don't think so. You can buy tickets on line but not necessary. No lines but it was pretty busy. Make sure you take water bc there are no fountains or anything to buy. It's pretty long too..4 1/2 hours for us.

I didn't see a student discount but i think there was a group rate along with a veteran discount. You can buy tickets online to avoid any line at the museum. I went on veteran's day weekend and the lines were very long.

Yes, there is a discounted college student rate. If you can, go during the week, in the evening. Much less crowded and there is a water fountain.

Don't know about student rate. Don't have to buy tix before you get there. Lines depend on day of week and time of day. Earlier in day is best.
