I am in NYC for 2 days and would like to see the memorial..I tried buying tickets on line but do not have an option of printing e tickets from my hotel. Is that necessary? Or can tickets be scanned from my phone?

You dont need tickets to see memorial unless you want to go to the museum or on the building.

You can go to FedEx Kinkos or Staples to access their machine and print. Can't say anything about etickets but my opinion is that this should be scanned from phone.
