Yes, Take the 1 train to Times Square, and catch the N and Q trains, or the 1 to 59th Street Columbus Circle to catch the D. (50th Street and Broadway). Take the N train to go straight to Coney Island (49th Street and 7th Avenue). Take the C/E trains to 42nd Street, West 4th Street or 59th Street to catch the N/Q, D/F, or D trains, respectively. (50th Street and 8th Avenue) Finally, you can take the 6 train to 59th/14th Sts, to catch the N/Q, or to Broadway/Lafayette Ave to catch the F/D trains. As long as you can transfer to the D,F,N or Q trains you can to Coney Island.

Somehow you need to transfer to either the F or Q train to get nearby Coney island. So, indirectly you can catch the train E, C, & A train to get to coney island.
