Great station barring the rampant amount of beggars in the area. Most of which might also attempt to follow you until you provide them something. Do not provide them anything, thats any other entity thats supposed to be in cost of that. The beggars just pass by them and if you experience dangerous anything call 911. Lastly lets all ban together and report the beggar problem to the neighborhood nypd precincts so they are nicely aware of the trouble at hand.

Relatively a clean station but the stingy smell of urine is everywhere in many subway stains in the NYC.

No it is not
No, this station doesn't have elevators. You'll have to walk uptown to 14th Street–Union Square station for elevators to the [N/Q/R/W] trains.
